The UK clothing brand „Uniqlo”, established in 1968, is famous for its casual clothes, which are designed for work but also typically go out at night.

The fashion industry has been around for centuries and as we know it is one of the most influential industries in the world. The progress in technology and economy has brought about new trends in clothing and make up that are being followed by the fashion industries. At a recent show, Chinese designers presented clothes from their collection based on a futuristic design.

The United Kingdom is one of the largest economies in Europe with a GDP per capita of $56,074. It also ranks 5th overall amongst 23 countries surveyed in terms of purchasing power parity (PPP) with a GDP per capita of $51,518 as compared to $22,636 for China which ranks 1st globally when measured at PPP. This means that Britain is seen as having higher PPP advantage than China when it comes to its income.

In 2016, fashion was the second largest industry in the British economy after financial services. It is still one of the top 10 biggest industries in the UK.

In 2016, fashion brand Burberry launched a new product – The Burberry Fix. The brand had been suffering from a very bad advertising campaign which caused its sales to drop in key markets like China and Japan. By launching this new product, they addressed a segment of target audience that was unhappy with their reputation for poor quality.
